214101 - Sea Turtle (Level 1)

Did you know green sea turtles can stay under water for as long as five hours? This class is for those who have never had lessons, cannot swim, or are not comfortable in the water. Children will learn basic water safety and swimming skills at a beginner level, with a parent or guardian in the water. In order to progress to the next level, participants must successfully demonstrate the Sea Turtle exit skills. 1:4 ratio, min 2.

214102 - Sailfish (Level 2)

Did you know sailfish can swim at speeds of up to 68 mph? This class is for those who have had lessons, can swim a minimum of 5 yards, and float on their back. Parents may be asked to assist in the water, depending on the child’s ability. Children will develop swimming techniques and must successfully demonstrate the Sailfish exit skills to move to the next level. 1:4 ratio, min 2.

214103 - Orca (Level 3)

Did you know orcas have flukes, or a tail, used for swimming? The flukes move in an up and down motion to accelerate. In this class, participants will practice stroke refinement at an advanced level in order to progress to a recreation swim league or pre-competition level. Children must be able to swim 25 yards on their front and 15 yards on their back. 1:4 ratio, minimum of 2.

214104 - Seahorse 1/2 (Preschool 1 & 2)

Seahorse 1
Did you know seahorses attach to floating objects as a way to travel long distances? This class will familiarize children with the aquatic environment and teach basic aquatic skills, with a parent or guardian in the water. 1:4 ratio, min 2.

Seahorse 2
Did you know seahorses prefer to swim in pairs with their tails linked together? This class builds and improves on skills learned in Seahorse 1, with a parent or guardian in the water. In addition, children will increase their knowledge of water safety topics. Children must successfully demonstrate Seahorse 1 exit skills. 1:4 ratio, min 2.
