RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COM~ISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BE~ACH, FLORIDA; SUPPORTING
THE APPOINTMENT OF ~VICE HAYOR LYNNE MATSON TO
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE FLORIDA LEAGUE
OF CITIES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Boynton Beach Vice Mayor Lynne Matson has expressed
interest in s~rving-.on the Board of Directors of the Florida
League of Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission fully and enthusiastically
supports the appointment of Lynne Matson to the Board of
Directors and believes that her appointment will enhance the
Board and have a positive impact on their business,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission recommends the
appointment of Lynne Matson to the Board of Directors of the
Florida League of Cities and encourages her appointment to that
position.
Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. In the event any portion of this Resolution
is deemed invalid, illegal or unconstitutional by any court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall in no manner effect
the remaining portions or sections of this Resolution and shall
remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
