A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~4ISSION OF
THE CiTY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
RATIFYING THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL
WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL BOARD
ACTION, WHEREIN THEY OPPOSED ANY
LEGISLATION WHICH WOULD CAUSE THE
ASSHRETHEAUTONOM¥ OF THE RE-USE UTILITY
AT THE LOCAL LEVEL; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment
& Disposal Board at ent meeting, voted unanimously to
oppose any legis~ regionalization
of the re-use their clear desire to
take steps to assure the autonomy of the re-use utility at the
local level; and
WHEREAS, TheSoutk Central Regional Wastewater Treatment
& Disposal Board now requests ratification by each respective
City being Delray Beach and Boynton Beach;

THE CITY
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
FLORIDA T~AT:
Section 1. The Qi~y Commission Qf the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, does hereby approve the ~ecent action taken by
the South Central Regiona! Wastewater Treatment & Disposal
Board wherein the Board voted unanim~usiy to oppose any
legislation which Would ~ase the regionalization of the re-
use uti!i%¥ and have expressed their 6tear desire to take
steps to assure the autonomy of the re-use utility at the
local level.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this Resolution, upon passage, to the Palm
Beach County legislative delegation.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect
immediatelyupon passage.
