RESOLUTION NO. ROO-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE cm COMMISSION OF THE cm
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND cm CLERK TO EXECUTE
A FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT FOR
LANDSCAPING ALONG HYPOLUXO ROAD FROM
CONGRESS AVENUE TO INTERSTATE 95, BETWEEN THE
cm OF BOYNTON BEACH AND PALM BEACH COUNTY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City is undertaking the installation of beautification,
improvements, on the County's Hypoluxo Road from congress Avenue to 1-95; and;
WHEREAS, the County supports the efforts of the City by providing a
reimbursement contribution for thirty eight percent (380/0) of the cost of
improvements, such contribution not to exceed a maximum of One Hundred Eight
Thousand Ninety Four and 00/100 Dollars ($108,094.00) to the City for the
installation of the improvements; and

WHEREAS, the City will be responsible for maintaining said improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida ,
upon recommendation of staff, hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City
Clerk to execute a Financial Assistance Agreement, providing for landscaping along
Hypoluxo Road from congress Avenue to Interstate 95, which Agreement is attached
hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
