A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO SIGN AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
WITH PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR REIMBURSEMENT
OF THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6) VIDEO
LARYNGOSCOPES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$7,200.00; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue Department is seeking to place state of
the art video laryngoscopes on all eleven (11) frontline apparatus; and
WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Fire Department has secured an alternative funding
source through an Interlocal Agreement with Palm Beach County Emergency Management that
will reimburse the City of Boynton Beach in an amount not to exceed $7,200.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach upon recommendation
of staff, deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Boynton
Beach to approve and authorize the City Manager to sign an Interlocal Agreement with Palm
Beach County for the reimbursement of the purchase of six (6) video laryngoscopes in an
amount not to exceed $7,200.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
hereof.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach hereby authorizes
the City Manager to sign an Interlocal Agreement with Palm Beach County for the

$7,200.00, a copy of said Interlocal Agreement is attached hereto and made a part here as
Exhibit "A ".
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
