R12 -068 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A PROPOSED MUNICIPAL MILLAGE RATE OF 7.800 FOR GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET PURPOSES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012 -13, STATING A ROLLED -BACK RATE, AND SETTING FORTH THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF THE FIRST PUBLIC HEARING; PROVIDING FOR 1 SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE 1 DATE. 1' 1 . 1 ' WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(2)(b) it is the responsibility of the 1 Municipality's governing body to advise the Property Appraiser of its roll back millage rate, 1) proposed millage rate and the date, time and place of the first public hearing; 1 ' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF 1 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: 1 '' Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby 21I adopts a proposed millage rate of 7.800 which has been computed to fund the General 2 Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 -13. The rolled -back rate is 7.3016. 2.' Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby 2 sets September 4, 2012 at 6:30 P.M., at Boynton Beach City Hall, 100 East Boynton Beach 2- Boulevard, as the date, time and place of the first public hearing to consider the proposed 2 millage rate and the tentative budget. 2 +. Section 3. The Interim City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is 2 ' hereby authorized to execute and submit DR -420 Certification of Taxable Value to the Palm 2 Beach County Property Appraiser's Office. 2' Section 4. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 6.
