4 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING
5 MAYOR WOODROW L. HAY AS A REPRESENTATIVE
6 , TO THE METROPOLITAN PLANNING
7 ORGANIZATION AND APPOINTING A CITY
8 ' MANAGER DESIGNEE AS ALTERNATE
9 REPRESENTATIVE TO THE METROPOLITAN
10 PLANNING ORGANIZATION; AND PROVIDING AN
11 EFFECTIVE DATE.

14 , i WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is entitled
15 to representation on the Metropolitan Planning Organization; and
16, WHEREAS, the City Commission has considered the qualifications necessary for '
17 such representation and wishes to bestow upon the following named individuals such right '
18 + and honor of service.
191 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
20 1 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:

2 j Section 1. The "WHEREAS" clauses above are hereby ratified and confirmed as

2' being true and correct and incorporated herein by reference.
21 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
211 appoints Mayor Woodrow L. Hay as a representative to the Metropolitan Planning
24C Organization and appoints a City Manager designee as alternate representative to the i
4 Metropolitan Planning Organization.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
