Subject: RE: Questions /Unique
Hello, Mr. Clark:
Mae forwarded your questions to me for a response. we do add a $10 fee to every patron account that
is referred to Unique for collections service. Unique charges us 58.95 per account. The process is not
strictly "budget neutral" in terms of cash, but it does recover materials that otherwise would not be
returned. we have used the service since Apr. 25, 2005. overall, we have referred a total of 7196
accounts, at a cost to us of $64,404.20. We have recovered a total of $51,743.81 in cash and a value of
5259,961.84 in returned materials. We do consider the service very worthwhile.
if you have any other questions, I would be happy to answer them 1 hope this is helpful.
