A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
5 THE LIST OF TOP RANKING QUALIFIERS FOR THE
6 RFQ #059-2821-10/CJD FOR "TWO YEAR CONT CT
7 FOR GENERAL CONSULTING AND EN GIN RING
8 SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF BOYNTON EACH"
9 SCOPE OF SERVICES (A-E); AUTHO ING THE
10 STAFF TO CONDUCT NEGOTIA ONS FOR
11 COMPENSATION OF SERVICES WITH THE
12 RECOMMENDED QUALIFIERS; AN PROVIDING AN
13 EFFECTIVE DATE.

16 WHEREAS, on July 7, 2010 RFQ #05 -2821-10/CJD was issued on behalf of the
17 Utilities Department and Recreation/Parks epartment to provide "General Consulting and
18 Engineering Services for the City of B ton Beach" for assignments logically tied to the
19 development, operation and main ten ce of City facilities; and
20 WHEREAS, the RFQ c sisted of five (5) distinct scopes of service and consulting
21 firms and engineers were in ted to submit a Letter of Interest for anyone (1) scope or a
22 combination of any of the ve (5) scopes; and
23 WHEREAS, a lYe member Evaluation Committee reviewed and evaluated all thirty-
24 using a standard weighting score sheet; and
25 1\.S, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, upon
\\ recommenda on of staff, hereby deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and

~~ residents f the City of Boynton Beach, to approve the list of top ranking qualifiers as listed in
28 the E", luation Committee's shortlist recommendations attached hereto and to authorize City
29 to conduct negotiations for compensation of services with the recommended qualifiers.
30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
31 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

1 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being
2 true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon ad tion hereof.
3 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
4 hereby approve the ranking of top qualifiers for RFQ #059-2

B Section 3. City of Boynton Beach does hereby
9 authorize City staff to conduct compensation of services with the
10 recommended qualifiers according Florida Statute 287.55.
11 Section 4~ This Re lution shall become etlective immediately upon passage.
