7 BEACH SISTER CITIES COMMITTEE, INC., AND
8 APPOINTING ANY CITY COMMISSION MEMBER AS
9 AL TERNA TE REPRESENT A TIVE TO THE GREATER
10 BOYNTON BEACH SISTER CITIES COMMITTEE,
11 INC.; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

14 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is entitled
15 to representation on The Greater Boynton Beach Sister Cities Committee, Inc; and
16 WHEREAS, the mission of the Sister Cities International is to promote peace
17 through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation, one individual and one community at
18 a time; and
19 WHEREAS, the City Commission has considered the qualifications necessary for
20 such representation and wishes to bestow upon the following named individuals such right
21 and honor of service.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
23 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
24 Section 1. The "WHEREAS" clauses above are hereby ratified and confirmed as
25 being true and correct and incorporated herein by reference.
26 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
27 appoints V,'ce. MAVOR MAR.u=:tE" ~as a representative to The Greater Boynton
28 Beach Sister Cities Committee, Inc., and appoints any City Commission member as alternate
29 representative to The Greater Boynton Beach Sister Cities Committee, Inc.,.
