A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AND ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL BY CREDITECH, TO
PROVIDE COLLECTION SERVICES FOR
DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE THE PROPOSAL; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton, upon
recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interests of the residents and
citizens of the City of BoYnton Beach to engage the services of CREDITECH, to
rovide collection services for delinquent accounts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Each Whereas clause set forth above is true and correct and
incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby approve and accept the Proposal for professional services regarding
the collection services submitted by CREDITECH, and authorizes the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute said proposal, Which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.

Gentlemen:
Creditech proposes to collect Boynton Delinquent Utility Bills, Alarm Fines, Lot Cleating
Charges, Fire inspection Fees and Bad Checks in accordance with your RFP # 00-131-98/SP for same.
The charge to the City for this service will be calculated at a contingent fee rate based upon the delin-
quent amount collected.
CREDITECH is owned by H.A. Berkheimer Inc, whose Berkheimer Associates division has been
in the collection of Municipal fees and taxes for over 50 years. In 1997 Berkheimer Associates col-
lected and disbursed over $300 Million in Local Government revenues.
