RESOLUTION
THE DEDICATION OF CENTRAL BOULEVARD AND
PARK AVENUE TO THE USE OF THE PUBLIC
IPlHEREAS , Central Boulevard, a street in the Town of
Boynton extending East and West across the Railroad of
the Florida East Coast Railway Company, is a public
street extending from Knuth Street to Dixie Highway,
and;
WHEREAS, the said street has been dedicated to the use
of the public ani has been graded and rocked by and under
the authority of the Town Commissioners of the Town of
Boynton, on each side of the said railroad and up to the
said railroad on each side thereof~ and there has been
no suitable or satisfactory crossing placed, made or
constructed so that the public in general can travel
along on the said street, over and across the sRid rail-
road and the said Florida East Coast Railway Comnany's
right-af-way where the same intersects said street, and;
VrnEREAS, Park Avenue, a street in the Town of Boynton
extending East and West across the Railroad of the Florida
East Coast Railway Company, is a public street, such
street extending from Knuth St~eet to Dixie Highway, and;
WHEREAS, the said street has been dedicated to the use
of the public and has been graded and rocked by and under
the authority of the Town Commissioners of the Town of
Boynton, on each side of the said railroad and up to the
said railroad on each side thereof, and there has been no
suitable or satisfactory crossing placed, made or constructed
so that the public in general can travel along on the said

the same intersects said street, and;
\VHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and to the best inter-
ests of the Town of Boynton and to the inhabitants thereof,
the. t a sui table crossing be made and constructed where
each and both of the sRid streets intersect the said rail-
road and tlle said right-of-way, so that the public in
general can cross over the said railroad ahd the said
right-of-way while traveling along each and both of the
said streets
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Florida, as
Follows:
1 That the said streets, namely, Central Boulevard arui
Park Avenue, be and they hereby are~ declared to be public
thoroughfares and streets in the To','rn c:i: Boynton, such
streets extending from Dixie Highway on the east to Knuth
street on the west over and across the railroad and fu e
right-of-way thereof of the Florida East Coast Railway
Company, where such streets intersect such right-of-way
and railroad, ani that the width of such streets be, and
the same hereby is 60 feet, from the north boundary thereof
to the south boundary thereof
2 That said Central Boulevard and Park Avenue be, and
they here by are, dedicated to the perpetual use of tre public
throughout the entire length of each of the said streets~
as is specified above, the width of Central Boulevard sixty
(60) feet and the width of Park street being sixty (60) feet
:3 That the Florida East Coast Railway Company be~ and
it hereby is commanded, directed and requested to place, QJ1_
struct am build, maintain and keep in good conditlon, a
crossing over and across its right-of-way and railroad
where each and both of the s8id streets, namely, Central
Boulev'-lrd and Park Avenue, intersect the ri8',h t-of-way of
the said railroad company, such crossing to be suitable
for the us e of tie publ'c in crossing over the right-of-
way and railroad track of the said corJpany in passing along
each and both of the said streets, each crossing to extend
from the north boundary to the south boundary of each of
the said streets; and that~ in the event said Florida
East Coast Railway Company doe s not place, bUild, construct
and complete such crossing so that the same will be
suitable for the use of the public in general in crossing
its said right-of-way and railroad where t~'1e said streets
intersect the same~ within thirty (30) days from the dat.e
seid comrany is notified in writirg to buil~ and cDllstrtlct
the said cross:i.ngs, the proper officials, agents or
ernployees of the Town of Boynton srEtll l:ulJ.d, construct [LIld
nmlr.tain such crossings ~'tn('l charge the expense thereof to
the said Florida ERst Coast Railway Company, as is pro-

4 Tb8 t R 0 Myers, Mayor of the Tovm of Boynton, be,
and he he rer~r is, autho11ized, empowered and cUrected to re-
quest the said Florida East Coast Railway Company to bUild,
construct and maintain the said crossings and to notify
the s8.id company that un Ie S8 such crossings are completed
in a. satisfactory" manner wi thin thirty (30) daJT s from the
receipt of such notice fr"om the said R 0 Myers, the Town
Commission will proceed to build, construct and to maintain
such crossir~s arn cr~rge the expense thereof to the s2.id
railway company

the adoption of the above and foregoing resolution; f1.nd
