WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, did during its regular meeting held July 18,
1955, adopt a Resolution finding it necessary for public interest,
that certain streets, boulevards, avenues, lanes, alleys, parkways
and other public highways located within the limits of the said
City be improved by being built, repaired, resurfaced and rebuilt,
and did by said Resolution according to law, authorize and direct
the Superintendent of Public Works to prepare an estimated cost for
repair, rebuilding, re-surfacing and construction of said streets
as described in the said Resolution, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the following streets, roads, boulevards, avenues,
lanes, alleys, parkways and other public highways as hereinafter
described shall be constructed and/or rebuilt to a specification as
required by the laws of the City of Bbynton Beach, said property
abutting the following described lots:

2. The City Comission shall set as a Board to hear ob-
Jections from abutting property holders on August 15, 1955, at th~
hour of ~:30 o'clock n.M. At the City Hall, Boynton Beach, Florida.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to assess each of
the abutting property holders located and abutting the above des-
cribed streets, and to assess such property holders on a front foot
basis charging said owner his proportionate share as divided by the
improvement cost above estimated. The property holder shall have the
privilege of paying the entire assessment at any time within 90 days
from date of this Resolution, ~nd failing to do so the Clerk shall,
for three (3) consecutive years assess the said property owner as a
lien against the property, a special assessment tax divided into
three (3) installments, payable as other ad valorem taxes are paid
with interest at the rate of 8% per annum on the unpaid balance.
4. The Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll showing the
number of feet of each lot or parcel of land fronting or abutting
upon the improvements and the amount of assessment as to each, and
each lot shall be proportionately so assessed. The assessment roll
shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk.
