R66-IRESOLUTION NO. 66-I
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That pursuant to the provisions of Section 23
of the Codified Charter of said City, there is hereby created the classified
position of DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS of said City with the distin-
guishing features and requirements of said position being more particularly
described in the attached memorandum which is hereby made a part hereof;
that the creation of said position is in the judgment of the City Council
deemed necessary for the good government and efficient operation of said
City.
SECTION 2: That said position shall be filled by appointment
in accordance with the provisions of the Charier, Ordinances and the Civil
Service Rules and Regulations of the municipality at a salary to be hereafter
established by the City Council of the municipality.
