70-WRESOLUTION NO. 70-W WHEREAS, that portion of Seacrest Boulevard within the municipal limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, lying between S. 15th Avenue, and the Boynton Canal is a county maintained roadway; and WHEREAS, subject portion of roadway is heavily traveled by pedestrians, including elderly persons and school children; and WHEREAS, the absence of sidewalks along the major portion of said area results in an extremely hazardous situation, which has resulted in physical injury to subject pedestrian traffic; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIl OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: 1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, is hereby urgently and respectfully urged to immediately investigate the above situation and to proceed with installation of necessary sidewalks to eliminate the extremely hazardous situation, with regard to subject portions of Seacrest Boulevard.
