71-FRESOLUTION NO. 71-F
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
recognizes the necessity of adequate future planning for the development of
said City, and
WHERF, AS, certain Federal financial assistance is available under
Federal Housing and Urban Development Program 701, and
WHEREAS, said City Council deems it in the best interest of the Cit~
that application be made requesting such Federal assistance for local planning
programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That C. Q. Jones, Jr., City Manager of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, is hereby formally authorized to file application to the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development through the State of
Florida Department of Community Affairs, requesting Federal financial
assitance for local planning programs, pursuant to provisions of II. U. D.
701 Program, and said City Manager is further authorized to execute any and
all documents connected with the pro~essing of said application and to obtain
anynecessary supporting data relative thereto.
