73-VRESOLUTION NO. 73-V... A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING USE OF PERMANENT SINGLE REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS. WHEREAS, Chapter 98 of the Florida Statutes provides for a permanent single registration system for the registration of electors to qualify them to vote in all elections including elections held in municipalities, where such municipalities elect by resolution to adopt the system as provided in Section 98.091 of the Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, it is deemed by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to be advisable and beneficial to the public interest of the City to adopt said system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, 1. FLORIDA, FLORIDA: That the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, desires and does hereby elect to adopt and use the said permanent single registration system for the registration of electors as provided in Chapter 98 of the Florida Statutes and, )ursuant to the provisions of Section 98.091 of the Florida Statutes, does hereby request the concurrence of the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, and Jacqueline Winchester, Supervisor of Elections, for the City's use of such system in the City's elections registration for the City's electors. 2. 2ounty, in place of separate That the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach Florida, and Jacqueline Winchester, Supervisor of Elections, be notified of the desire of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to use said system by furnishing them with true copies of this Resolution.
