A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REGARDING ACCESSIBLE ROUTES ON S. W THIRD STREET
IN SAID CITY. '
WHEREAS, in the construction of Interstate Highway 1-95
in the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, and the reconstruction
of S. W. 23rd Avenue in conjunction therewith, access southerly
to S. W. 23rd Avenue from S. W. Third Street has been eliminated
during construction; and
WHEREAS, the access to S. W. 15th Avenue northerly from
S. W. Third Street has been temporarily eliminated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, deems it essential for the public safety and welfare
of the community to continue the elimination of such access
southerly to S. W. 23rd Avenue from S. W. Third Street and to
establish access northerly from s. w. Third Street to Perimeter
Road iX order to re-establish the access of S. W. Third Street
northerly to S. W. 15th Avenue by way of said Perimeter Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SeCtion 1: That access f~om,.S~,.W..~Third~.~Stre~s~u~h~rly
to S. W. 23rd Avenue be permanently eliminated and terminated.
Section 2: That access from S. W. Third Street northerly
to Perimeter Road and access northerly from Perimeter Road to
S. W. 15th Avenue be established and maintained from S. W. Third
Street in order to re-establish the northerly access of S. W.
Third Street to S. W. 15th Avenue.
SeCtion '3: That the City Manager of said City is
dir.ected and authorized to take such appropriate action as shall
be necessary to implement this Resolution.
