A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 75-U.
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1975, the City CoUncil of the City
of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed and adopted Resolution No,
75-U relative to a proposed ramp to be constructed from South
West 23rd Avenue southward to and connecting with South West
Sixth Street in conjunction with the construction of Inter-
state Highway 1-95; and
WHEREAS, the preamble of said Resolution No. 75-U stated
that the proposed ramp would create a very grave and hazardous
condition for motor vehicular traffic and included additional
references to the creation of a very hazardous situation; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Resolution
No. 75-U, the. City Council of said City has had the benefit:of
additional information, including engineering and police studies
and reports, in the light of which the City Council has deter-
mined that such grave and hazardous conditions as initially
contemplated would not, in fact, result from the construction
of the said proposed ramp; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it appropriate
and necessary to rescind said Resolution No. 75-U in order to
clarify and reflect its enlightened and informed regard towards
the said proposed ramp.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That said Resolution No. 75-U as heretofore
passed and adopted on April 1, 1975, be and is hereby rescinded
and declared null and void.
Section 2: That a true and certified copy of this
Resolution be furnished forthwith to the Department of
Transportation of the State of Florida and to all other
appropriate authorities.
