RESOLUTION NO. 76- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING INDIVIDUALS TO PERFORM DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF ENIPLOYEE'S PENSION PLAN OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section _1.: Section 21-25 of Article IV, Chapter 21 of the codified Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, provides [hat the "Board of Trustees, "Board" or "Trustees", shall be construed ~o mean the membe of [he City Council unless the City Council, by resolution, designates additional or substitute individuals lo perform the duties and functions of such Board of TrusTees. Section 2: Pursuant to the aforesaid Section 21-25, the City Council has heretofore adopted Resolution No. 6S-I establishing the composition of membership of the said Board of Trustees. Section 3: Resolution No. 68-I is hereby rescinded in its entirety and in accordance wi[h the provisions of the aforesaid Section 21-25, the following individuals are hereby designated to perform the duties and functions of said Board of Trustees: The Financial Director of the City, who shall serve as a member and Chairman of said Board for so long as he shall hold said position; the City Manager who shall serve as a member for so long as he shall hold said position; an individual representative of a local financial institution shall be appointed as one member of the Board by the City Council, and shall sSrve for a period of two (2) years; a layman shall be appointed as one (1) member of the Board by the City Council and shall serve for a period of two (2) years; and one (1) member of ~he Board shall be a City employee elected annually by all City employees who are members of the i¥iunicipaI Pension Plan.
