76-NNN RESOLUTION NO. 76-NNN
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, CONFIRMING PRIOR REQUEST OF BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY TO
COMPLETE IN ITS ENTIRETY THE FIVE-YEAR PLAN FOR
FOUR-LANING AND GENERAL IMPROVEMENT OF SEACREST
BOULEVARD THROUGHOUT THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
SAID CITY.
W-HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
has heretofore adopted Resolutions Nos~ 74-J and 76-T recommending to the
Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County completion of 'the pre-
vious[y commenced five-year plan for the four-Inning and genera[ improve-
ment of Seacres~ Boulevard along its entire length throughout said city; and
WHEREAS, said Board of County Commissioners held a Public Infor-
mational Meeting on August 31, 1976, relative the above-referenced improve-
ments to Seacrest Boulevard and at that 'time received a Petition executed by
a number (~f City residents objecting to the proposed four-Inning of that portion
of Seacrest Boulevard from ~Voolbright Road (S. W. 15th Avenue) north to the
Boynton Canal (being Phase 3 of the aforesaid project); and
WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach City Council has received and reviewe~
the aforesaid signature petition;
NO'W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach
County be, and it is hereby advised that the City Council of the City of Boynton
Beach, after having received and thoroughly reviewed the aforementioned
~°etition, wishes to re-afDirm its prior endorsement and support of the four-
Inning and proposed improvement of Seacre~t Boulevard in the manner contem
plated by the aforesaid five-year plan.
Section 2: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of County Commis
ers of Palm Beach County, %~i[[iam Med[en, Chairman.
