81-KRESOLUTION NO. 81-5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATION TO THE
PALM BEACH COUNTY COMMISSION FOR ITS DECISION
TO CONSTRUCT THE BOYNTON BEACH REGIONAL PARK
IN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, by and
through %he County Engineer, presented a proposed site plan for
the construction of mhe Boyn~on Beach Regional Park Facility in
the City of Boynton Beach at the regular meeting of the City
Council on February 3, 1981.
WHEREAS, the proposed site plan was approved unani-
mously by the City Council of the City of Boyn~on Beach as a
welcome addition to the recreational facilities provided by the
County in the Boynton Beach area.
NOWr THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SectLon 1. The City Council of the City of Boynton
Beach wishes to express its appreciation and the appreciation of
the citizens of the Boynton Beach arear to the Board of County
Commissioners of Palm Beach County for its decision 5o construct
the Boynton Beach Regional Park Facility in the City of Boynton
Beach.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to send
a certified copy of this Resolution to each member of the Board
of County Commissioners as follows: Frank Foster, Chairman,
Norman Gregory, Vice Chairman, Peggy Evatt, Dennis Koehler and
Bill Bailey.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 1981.
