RESOLUTION OF THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY
0 ~ FLORIDA, ASSESSING THE
F BOYNTON BEACH,
COST OF ABATemENT ~~ CERTAI~ NUISANCES
AGAINST THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY INVOLVED,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Rec~ea~tion and Park Department of the City
of Boyntoa Beach, acting for and on behalf of the City, had,
pursuant to Ordinance No. 79-14 of the City of Boynton Beach,
found and determined that the condition of certain property or
parcels of land as hereinafter described, violates Section 2 of
Ordinance No. 79-14 in that ~is~a~ed ~l~ ~i~t~ on
property and said City Officials. determined that said plants
constitute a nuisance in violation of Ordinance No. 79-14; and
WXqEREAS, the owners of the parcels of property herezn-
after described were duly notified in accordance with Ordinance
No. 79-1~ as to the existence of the aforesaid nuisances on their
property and were thereby required to abate said nuisance within
the prescribed period of time; and
WHEREAS, said nuisance was not abated as required; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with Ordinance No.
79-14 of the City of Boynton Beach, the City abated said
and
WHEREAS, the determination has been made of the costs in-
curred by the City in the abatement-'bf said nuisances as to the
property involved, which is hereinafter described;
NOW, THEREFORE, be and it is hereby resolved by the City
Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida:
Section 1. That the amount of costs incurred by the City
in the abatement of the above, described nuisances as to the
parcels of land, owned and indicated, to wit:

It is hereby assessed as liens against the said parcels of land
as indicated, said liens as to said parcels of land shall be of
equal dignity with taxes thereon for the year /~/ and shall
be enforced and collected

Section 2.

directed to record a Certified Copy of this Resolution in the
Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach
County.
Section 3. That such liens shall bsar interest from the
date of filing in the Official Record Books of Palm Beach County,
Florida, at the rate of Eight (8%) percent per annum.
Section 4. That the City Clerk be and she is further
directed to notify, by certified mail, the registered owners of
the parcels of land named hereinabove of the assessments of liens
as to their property.
Section 5. That this Resolution Shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
