A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING AN:~
ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE METROPOLITAN
PLANNING ORGANIZATION AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Organization was
established pursuant to Florida Statute 334-215; and
WHEREAS, the Governor has allocated the M'PO voting
membership to include the five County Commissioners, two members
from the City of West Palm Beach, one member each from Boca
Retort, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth and Riviera Beach;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to
carry out the MPO activities in a cooperative manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Designates
Councilman Samuel Lamer Wright
to be the alternate representative to the Metropolitan Planning
Organization.
