Vice Mayor James Cherof, City Attorney <br /> Justin Katz, Commissioner (Arrived 6:46 p.m.) Judith A. Pyle, City Clerk <br /> Christina Romelus, Commissioner <br /> Joe Casello, Commissioner <br /> 1. OPENINGS <br /> A. Call to Order - Mayor Steven B. Grant <br /> Chair Grant called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Invocation <br /> Benjamin Hawkins, Pastor, B &K Ministries gave the invocation. <br /> Presentation of Flags by Boynton Beach High School ROTC <br /> The presentation of the Flags was made. <br /> Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag led by Commissioner Romelus <br /> Commissioner Romelus led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> Comments by Fred Barch, Principal of Boynton Beach Community High School. <br /> Fred Barch, Principal, Boynton Beach Community High School, introduced the Jr. <br /> ROTC Marine Corp. This academy is unique to Boynton Beach Community High School <br /> teaching dedication, pride, honor and community pride. In its first year, there are over <br /> 100 students participating in the program and is close in enrollment to the Medical <br /> Academy which doubled in size this year. The High School band, Tiger Sound, will <br /> perform at the Miami Heat halftime show at a sellout game against the Golden State <br /> Warriors, on January 23, 2017. If wanting to show support, the school's Facebook page <br /> and social media contains information on how to get tickets. Discount tickets are <br /> available. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk Pyle called the roll. A quorum was present. <br />
