Grant, Mayor <br />Justin Katz, Vice Mayor <br />Mack McCray, Commissioner <br />Joe Casello, Commissioner <br />Christina Romelus, Commissioner <br />1. OPENINGS <br />A. Call to Order - Mayor Steven B. Grant <br />Mayor Grant called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. <br />Roll call <br />Judith A. Pyle, City Clerk, called. the roll. All present. <br />Mayor Grant read the below captioned case: <br />Lori LaVerriere, City Manager <br />James Cherof, City Attorney <br />Judith A. Pyle, City Clerk <br />CLOSED -DOOR SESSION to be held on August 15, 2017 commencing at 5:30 pm <br />in Commission Chambers at City Hall to discuss pending litigation in the case: <br />DENNIS GALINDEZ and MARLA GALINDEZ, his wife, Plaintiffs vs. CITY OF <br />BOYNTON BEACH and FIRST GENESIS LAW N SERVICE, INC., Defendants - <br />Case No. 50 2015 CA 002413 Division AD <br />Mayor Grant announced the closed -door session regarding DENNIS GALINDEZ and <br />MARLA GALINDEZ vs. City of Boynton Beach for the above captioned case. <br />James Cherof, City Attorney, announced present for the session was the City <br />Commissioners; Lori LaVerriere, City Manager; James Cherof, City Attorney; Tracy <br />DeCarlo, Assistant City Attorney; and a court reporter. <br />Mayor Grant recessed the meeting at 5:34 p.m. <br />Mayor Grant reconvened the meeting at 6:30 p.m. and called the Regular City <br />Commission meeting to order. <br />Invocation <br />Reverend Richard Dames gave the invocation. <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />
