Meeting Minutes <br />City Commission <br />Boynton Beach, Florida <br />Commissioner McCray gave the invocation. <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag led by Commissioner Casello. <br />Commissioner Casello led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Roll Call <br />A quorum was present. <br />Agenda Approval: <br />1. Additions, Deletions, Corrections <br />Lori LaVerriere, City Manager, added two lifesaving awards as Item 3E. <br />2. Adoption <br />Motion <br />August 1, 2017 <br />Commissioner Casello moved to approve as amended. Commissioner McCray <br />seconded the motion. <br />Vote <br />The motion unanimously passed. <br />2. OTHER <br />A. Informational items by Members of the City Commission <br />Commissioner Casello had no announcements or disclosures. <br />Commissioner Romelus congratulated the Palm Beach Post writer Alexandra Seltzer <br />who won a second place award on an article she wrote on her husband's company. <br />Mayor Grant met with Habitat for Humanity, John Markey and Phil Mader, and met with <br />the new manager for the Boynton Beach Mall. He pointed out there is a tax holiday this <br />weekend for school supplies including electronic equipment and software. He attended <br />a ribbon cutting for Five Star Fitness and Wellness. On July 25th he attended the Office <br />Depot Foundation event and received 50 backpacks to distribute to the community. He <br />met with Rick Petty for a Healthier Boynton Beach, attended a League of Cities event in <br />Riveria Beach, and met with Harvey Oyer, III regarding American Traffic Solutions <br />(ATS). On the 27th he attended the Town Square Partner meeting and a Public <br />Relations Society of America event where Eleanor Krusell won two awards for Yappy <br />2 <br />
