Call to Order - Mayor Steven B. Grant <br />Lori LaVerriere, City Manager <br />Tracy DeCarlo, Assistant City Attorney <br />Judith A. Pyle, City Clerk <br />Mayor Grant called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. <br />Roll call <br />Judith A. Pyle, City Clerk, called the roll. All present. <br />Mayor Grant read the below captioned case: <br />CLOSED -DOOR SESSION to be held on August 1, 2017, commencing at 5:30 p.m. in <br />Commission Chambers at City Hall to discuss pending litigation in the case: <br />BENNIE ROBINSON, Plaintiff, vs. JUSTIN HARRIS, individually and the CITY <br />OF BOYNTON BEACH, a Florida Municipal Corporation, Defendants - UNITED <br />STATES DISTRICT COURT SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA - Case No. <br />9.16-cv-81572-CIV-MARRA/MATTHEW MAN <br />Tracy DeCarlo, Assistant City Attorney, recited the above captioned case and advised <br />present at the closed -door session would be the City Manager, the City Commission, <br />herself as the Assistant City Attorney and a court reporter. The meeting was recessed <br />at 5:32 p.m. to conduct the Shade Session. <br />Mayor Grant reconvened the Special City Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. and called <br />the Regular City Commission meeting to order. Also present in the stead of Assistant <br />City Attorney DeCarlo for the regular City Commission meeting was Shana Bridgeman, <br />Assistant City Attorney. <br />Invocation <br />
